Alvey Reels Australia was founded by Charles Alvey in 1920. It is located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and still remains a family business. E. A. Brandner Distributors, LLC has been offering wholesale and retail sales and service for Alvey Reels in the United States since 1980.
Alvey Reels continue to outperform other types of reels with their simple and efficient design. Alvey side casts reels are designed for distance casting with little practice. Using the casting instructions presented on this site, Jack Alvey attained a record cast of 671 feet using a 2 ounce casting weight. All Alvey Reels are ruggedly built to withstand the harsh effects of fine beach sand & saltwater corrosion and will give you a lifetime of fishing pleasure.
