Mount approximatley 1-1/2 to 2 inches above the foregrip with the open side facing left.

For custom building a rod: Butt Handle 6" - 10", Reversed Reel Seat (screw forward), Foregrip 10" - 12", Open Runner (left opening for right handers, right opening for left handers) and Guide Spacing per above. The first, or stripper guide should be a 40mm high frame or 50 mm. Other guides should be spaced to match the rod action.
